Hi, I'm researching my great grandfather William Alexander Tullis. All I know at this point is he came from Lamberth, London. He served with the beds & herts as a drummer/plate layer and his service number was 5946547. He had a son born in 1942 which shows the above info on the birth certificate. Firstly can anyone help with possible location of his service history and secondly can anyone tell me what he would have done as a drummer/plate layer. Any help is much appreciated
