    Greetings all.

I was looking into this chap: Edward Mccorry Russell. 5884444. (Sorry I missed a 4 off the service number in the title and it won't let me edit it!)
5 Northamptonshire. Died 23rd May 1940 and now buried in Marquise Communal Cemetery.

I have been on his details on the CWGC website and he is on a concentration report which says his original grave location was "New Mill Cemetery".

I have been unable to locate where this cemetery is or was and was wondering if anyone could point me in its location.

Also was it near the location of a hospital, casualty clearing station or some other type of medical facility?

Thanks for any pointers anyone can give!
    Adam

    Thank you!
I see my silly mistake now!
On the concentration report form I just read along from his name and I had assumed each different line written about the cemetery related to each separate man and was each a different cemetery.

In which case I wonder if he died a little later than the 23rd May as his unit would have only left the river Escaut/Shelde the night of the 22nd.
Plus the other men on that concentration report have dates of death from around a week later, which does make sense.
