4982212 Albert Abner Jackson, 2 Sherwood Foresters: 06/09/1941, Killed by a landmine?

Anyone have any information on Private, 4982212 Albert Abner Jackson, 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters. Died 6th September 1941 Aged 27. The family believe he was killed by a landmine somewhere near Skegness.
Albert is buried in Belper Cemetery.
Born 20th September 1913 he was the son of Thomas and Lily Jackson of Sawmills; Husband of Ivy Jackson, of Ripley Road, Ambergate, Derbyshire. Before the war he was a hosiery trimmer.

There`s a report on his death on the `Newspaper Archive` site sorry I don`t have access at present.

One option would be to try the local history groups and Google indicates there is a U3A group and at least another.

There is a 1946 issued battalion history, might be found via Worldcat.org search. There is one @ IWM. See: The story of the 2nd Battalion the Sherwood Foresters 1939-1945

 

His death certificate may well provide more information, this is possibly him:
