Can someone confirm if the following orbat is correct? I guess I should check somemore books but there seems to a difference of opinion. 48th Division: 143 Brigade - 1 Oxs and Bucks, 1/7 Warwicks and 8 Warwicks 144 Brigade - 2 Warwicks, 5 Glosters and 8 Worcs 145 Brigade - 2 Gosters, 4 Ox and Bucks and 1 Bucks Off to have a look in France and Flanders
I have this one. There is a difference in 143rd Bridade with 5th Royal Warwick's instead of 8th Royal Warwick's. 48th (South Midland) Infantry Division - (Major-General A. F. A. N. Cheers all, I'll go with the War in France and Flanders as that matches with Blitzkreig in the West and The Forgotten Massacre. The confusion (not mine) seems to be coming from 1st Buckinghamshire Battalion, The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry as some sources on the net have identified them as 1st The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.
