    Major Edward Watkin Williams-Wynn
    b. 26 November 1908, d. 8 September 1977

    Major Edward Watkin Williams-Wynn was born on 26 November 1908. He is the son of Sir Robert William Herbert Williams-Wynn, 9th Bt. and Elizabeth Ida Lowther.

    He married Roma Sunderland Matheson, daughter of Kenneth Murray Matheson, on 10 February 1949. He died on 8 September 1977 at age 68, without issue.

    He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England. He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England. He was appointed FRAGS.

    He fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Major in the Welsh Guards. He was Aide-de-Camp to Major-General commanding 9th and 11th Armoured between 1941 and 1944. He was Military Secretary to the British Military Mission, USSR in 1944. He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945. He was Military Secretary to the Commander-in-Chief, West African Forces in 1945.
