    Hi everyone,
I am researching Hector PARRY who is named on the Hope, Flintshire WW2 War Memorial:-
    PRIVATE HECTOR PARRY
    Service Number: 4031973
    Regiment & Unit/Ship - King's Shropshire Light Infantry - 1st Bn.
Date of Death - Died 22 May 1940
    Age 25 years old
Buried or commemorated at DUNKIRK MEMORIAL
    Column 115.
    France
Country of Service - United Kingdom
    DUNKIRK MEMORIAL

I know he was born in Denbighshire and his residence was Shropshire, from his UK Roll of Honour. However, I cannot find a clue to his family or anything other that what is above. Can anyone help and also tell me what happened to the 1st Bn. King's Shropshire Light Infantry that day please. Many thanks in advance, Mavis Williams
