33 Fd Regt RA - PARA - B G Edwards

Hi,
I am new to this so Apologies

if placed in wroung catagory !!!!

I am trying to find as much Information on 14446842 Gnr B G Edwards, who served with 33 field regiment RA ( PARA ) Also ended up in the REME ??? I have a very inportant letter dated 12 march 1947 to say he was being congratulated on alertness and efficiency as a sentry. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hello and welcome

The first thing I would do is apply for a copy of his service records. These will confirm 100% what units he served with and from there you will be able to really narrow down what he did in the war and if you're very lucky - find out what happened the night he was on sentry duty.
