    For dbf, scant reward for the sterling work you carry out within this forum, posted for you with much appreciation.

    As always, much soul-searching in posting, given the utmost respect that I have for the author of the source of information attached, extracts from what I believe to be the absolute definitive work on LRDG casualties. May it promulgate their memory for evermore. As a matter for my conscience in using this source, and to continue its original aims, I have donated £100 to the Combat Stress charity prior to posting here. Please note, if I should receive a cease and desist request I will, immediately and with all reverence, always.

    Jim,
    Thank you very much for posting those accounts of Guardsman Easton's service background as well as the hardships endured by the patrol. Also for your very generous donation to Combat Stress.
