30 Corps - Unconditional Surrender Signal

    Hopefully this is of interest to someone.

    This signal is owned by a good friend of mine whose father recently died and was the R Signal officer in 30 Corps overseeing line communications (I understand). He took this copy of the Unconditional Surrender signal sent by 2nd Army to 30 Corps on 07 May 1945. He was Capt Keith Chapman RSignals.

    (I'm ex RSignals of a more recent vintage!)
