12th Canadian Armoured Regiment [Three Rivers Regiment] If you use the search engine on this site it might reveal some details - the thread above for example has the War Diary and the Roll of Honour for the 3 Rivers Regiment with service numbers TD
They seem to have been allocated D36000 to D40999, but from my limited knowledge of Canadian numbers most men seem not to have numbers that relate to a recognisable unit but seem to be more depots or districts and I guess from their they are posted to units, the allocated band I've given may only be for early direct enlistees in the Regiment

Source: Regimental Numbers of the Canadian Army 1936 -1960 Active Force MD 4 12th Army Tank Battalion (Three Rivers ) = D36000 - D40999 Reserve Force MD 4 2nd Bn Three Rivers Regiment = D462000 - D463999 TC 42 (Three Rivers Regiment) = D464000 - D469999 Although a soldier could receive two Regimental Numbers, these would consist of a NPAM (Non-Permanent Active Militia) then, later, a Canadian Active Service Force (CASF) number. Policy was that once allotted a CASF number, this number would NOT be changed during his period of service with the CASF. If dis-charge from the CASF and the man subsequently re-enlisted, he would use the original number again. (CASF RO 76/39)
I had a look through the book but spotted the first group and thought that was it - didn't realise there was a Reserve Force allocation too (I did say Canadian numbers are a bit of a mystery to me)
