    Looking for any information, particularly where the Hampshire regiment crossed the Lamone river 4 December 1944. Trying to 'Walk the ground' in May plus visiting Faenza Cemetery. Thanks in advance

    When you use the forum's search facility with Lamone it returns x67 posts with that. At a glance some involve the 2nd Hants, also the 5th.

    If you search online with : "lamone" + "2 hampshire" site:ww2talk.com there are two threads id'd and one thread when using: "lamone" + "2nd hampshire" site:ww2talk.com

    It might be worth using: "lamone" + "december" site:ww2talk.com that id'd approx forty threads.
