    2734223 Lance Serjeant William Eric Evans 1st Battalion Welsh Guards
    Birth 1917 - Kinnerley Shropshire
    Died as a result of an accident - 18 April 1942 Aged 25
    Western Daily Press 22 April 1942 reported that Eric was a Dispatch rider who had been accidentally killed in a crash with a motor vehicle the coroner did not believe either driver or rider were to blame on a notoriously dangerous bend

    Son of William Henry Evans, and of Elizabeth Evans, of Dovaston.
