In England by Brigade Intelligence Officer in May 1944. Lord ROSS (Irish Guards)

Yes. In England, same time.

3. INTERROGATION after capture:
Were you specially interrogated by the enemy? (State where, when and methods employed by enemy).
Yes.
In Benthime [Bentheim] (Germany) by English speaking officers on 2/4/45. Methods were fair.

4. ESCAPES attempted:
Did yo make any attempted or partly successful escapes? (Give details of each attempt accurately, stating where, when, method employed, names of your companions, wherein when recaptured and by whom. Were you physically fit? What happened to your companions?)
Myself & Sgt. McCOMISH, Gdsn MORRIS, Gdsn MURPHY all escaped by disarming two Volksturm & then hid in German Convent till liberated by COLDSTREAM GUARDS of the G.A.D. I was fit. 7/5/45
