    Hi dbf,

I was not sure if should post this headstone on your thread. I was just wondering if you knew anything about this Guardsman? What I'm puzzled about is the 14th January 1944. I'm thinking it's wrong. It is. I've got a hunch that it should be the 30th January instead. I've nothing to back this up at the moment. He his buried next to a Guardsman of the 1 Scots Guards in the Anzio War Cemetery.

Whilst reading your Acquittance Roll (All Arms) of which I did know of this file I noticed a name that rung a bell. 2716910 SGT. DUNNE. P. I've news has to where he was found. He was found with a Pte of the 1 Dukes, and a Cpl of the 2/7 Mx Regt "C" Sp Gp. I can't show the original of the email, but will type it out with the date etc.

Do you have all of the Missing Personnel File of the 1 Irish Guards In Italy?

    Regards,
    Stu.
