    Although the CWCG website states Philip's parents were George Michael and Matilda Murphy, further research suggests that their names were actually George Cornelius Murphy and Matilda Anne (nee Cleary). I recently took over the management of his Find a Grave memorial. If you are a family member and you'd like to take over management, please do send me a request on the memorial page..
