    When I went to Brookwood Military Cemetery some 18 months ago, there was a marker stating this guys headstone was being renovated.

    Name: McEWEN, IAN DONALD WILLIAM ALASTAIR

    Age: 19
    Date of Death: 05/06/1941
    Service No: 2700619
    Additional information: Son of Capt. Ian Potter McEwen and Amethe McEwen, of New York City, U.S.A.

    Cemetery: BROOKWOOD MILITARY CEMETERY
