    Remembering Today 27/10/43

    Killed along with 22 other Irish Fusiliers, including its commanding office Lt-Col Beauchamp Butler DSO, during the attack on San Salvo.

    ALL of those battles around that area were bad ones - up to Ortona

    Agreed about this.

    Indeed it is invidious to pick one men out of so many, but I have made some recent contact with someone who knew John Glennie : hence the remembrance note.
