    Hi,

    My Grandfather's nephew served with the Coldstream Guards during the war and I've found some information on him but not which Btn he served within.

    Name George Stanley Powell
    D O B 15th September 1922
    Reg Coldstream Guards
    Reg No 2665072
    Enlisted 9.4.42
    Discharged class C 30.4.46

    I believe from some general family information that he fought in the Italy campaign but little else.

    Any help would be fantastic

    Adrian.

    Italy will narrow it down to 3 COLDM GDS in 201 Guards Brigade and 2 COLDM GDS in 1 Guards Brigade.

    Getting his a Service Record from MOD Glasgow will pin down which one.
