The Kenya clasp to the Africa General Service Medal was for min 90 days service between 21 October 1952 and 17 November 1956 during the Mau Mau uprising.

CFN = Craftsman. Transfer to REME was at earliest 1st October 1942 when it was formed.

The registers of attestation and enlistment, transfer and discharge of the Coldstreams are on findmypast, which I believe has free access to all military records this weekend.

    Thanks for that Travers.
I have managed to find out that his name was Harold Arthur Lilley and he transfered to R.E.M.E. on 15th June 1944.
But still trying to find my way around the FMP website.
