    Listed in Regtl History as Died Of Wounds.
    They were out of the line for all of January.

    Any idea of where they were at the end of '44? I'm guessing one of their last actions of 1944 is where he was wounded.

    Andy,
    Guess would the correct word in this case, as O said they were out of the line. DOW as you know can mean an injury any time, even the same day ... the bn finally got to celebrate Christmas Day in relative peace but if I remember correctly, previous to that were on short notice for orders. There was nothing that jumped out, or at least was worth further investigation with so little info.
