2612188 R E GOULDSTONE, MiD, Grenadier Guards

    2612188 Sergeant GOULDSTONE R. He was my fathers ( 2612502 Guardsman SELLS, Kings Company 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards) best mate, they spent a lot of time together went to Egypt in I think 1934. Ronnie stayed with the Grenadiers 1st Batt motorised and my father went to India as one of Mountbattons bodyguard.
    Can you give me any details as to who posted Ronnie Gouldstone information as I would love to corrispond?

    Hi Lofty,
    *I'm afraid I can't remember where I got his name and number from. I lost all my data (external drive died) after I posted this and other Nominal lists.
    The lists were compiled from GG History, CWGC, POW lists, Gallantry/Honours info etc., as well as from single contributions by members.
    Sorry I couldn't help, but maybe someone related will see this. I'll put a link to your post beside Sgt Gouldstone's name on the list.
