Hi. I've been reading up on the action of the 24th Lancers in Normandy and the 12th SS Panzer Division and have read 'By tank into Normandy' by Stuart Hills, 'Tank Action' by David Render and 'Waffen SS armour in Normandy' by Norbert Szamveber. None of these books tie up exactly who the 24th Lancers or 12th SS panzers were fighting against, so I was wondering if anyone could give a brief summary of when and where these two units fought against each other during the period D-Day to end of June 1944? Thanks in advance.
