The recommendation states "During the operation of 27 May 1942 to 5 July 1942 whilst the Signal Squadron was serving with H.Q. 4Armd Bde. Sgm. Gibson was rear link operator on the Brigade Commander's Tank"

Can anyone identify who "the Brigade Commander" was?

Signalman Gibson was wounded in Italy on 4th September 1944.

I have just received the excellent book:
Honours, Decorations, and Medals to The Royal Corps of Signals for Gallantry & Distinguished Service 1920-2020by Nick Metcalfe. Certainly a very well researched and produced book. Loads of reading for Christmas.
Having unsuccesfully tried to locate the recommendation for Gibson's mid, I was delighted that it appears in the book
    "Gibson Arthur Chappell
Dispatches 2344684 Signalman. 7Th Armoured divisional signals attached to 2 Regiment Royal Horse Artillery WWII operationstill early 1942. Signalmangibson was employed as wireless operatoron an observation posttankwith 2 RHAin support of 4th Armoured Brigade, 22nd Armoured Brigade, 7thsupport groupand 2nd Armoured Brigade. During this very trying periodhe had little restand much more than his fair shareof unpleasentnessof the battle, in spiteof this he carried out his work cheerfully an with such efficiency that he never once failed to maintain communications. LG 9 September 1942

Does anyone have the War Diary for 2 RHA covering the above period who could check if Gibson is reffered to.

He subsequently served in italy with 1st Armoured Div Signals and was wounded on the 4 September 1944.
