    Hello,

I'm trying to find out where a letter by a RASC member was written, on July 14, 1944. He was a driver in B platoon, 22 Coy.

Also, does anyone know what division it was attached to, and when/where it landed?

Thank you very much for your help, have a nice day!

I think that would be 22 Corps Troops Composite Company, which is shown as being affiliated to 8 Corps in 21 Army Group.

    Hi Clement,

Source: WO 171/2355 - War Diary 22 Company RASC( Corps Troops Composite).

23 June 1944 - 2200 hrs. Disembarked - Juno Beach France - Weather hot and sunny.

There are no specific entries between 13th and 21st July 1944. But the Company HQ was based at the following map reference: France 7F/1 CAEN 914793.

They were under command of 8th Corps Troops.

    Regards

    Tom
