Thought people might be interested to see this artefact which is on display at the Lancashire at War display at Lytham at the moment..... It is apparently a signalling flag used on the beaches by Lieutenant Eric Ashcroft.....I'm also told that his son is Lord Ashcroft he who collects the VCs......
