Hi, I am looking for unit history, war diaries and/or after-action reports for the 1st Battalion, Black Watch, 154th Brigade, 51st Highland Division between January – June 1940 but more specifically May-June 1940.

As an amateur hobbyist military historian, I am trying to write a novel focusing on the 1st Battalion, Black Watch as part of the 51st Highland Division’s retreat to St. Valery. I am particularly interested in the action the Battalion was engaged in north-west of Remeling between 9-15th May 1940 before their redeployment to Abbeville by mid May 1940.

At this point I have no intention of publishing the novel and because this is just a hobby I’m trying to use as much open source material as possible, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
