Hello, I am making a follow up for RONALD HENRY GARDNER Service Number: 5193355 Died 18 January 1945 1st royal tank regiment Casualty Details | CWGC on his grave registration paper 4 others are killed on the same day. Probably same tank but can’t find that anywhere. The temporary/ war grave was on schilberg (Echt) and was probably killed during the liberation of Echt(Netherlands). Date of death matches the fighting around Echt. I can’t find any war diaries about his unit hopefully somebody here can help me. Would like to read a few days prior to the 18th and some days after. If someone has some pictures of the liberation of Echt I can take some than and now photo’s I live in Nederweert so that’s no trouble Thanks in advance Gr yordie

Hi Yordie, Did you ever find any more information around the dates leading up to the 18th? Once of the other men was a family member, we have a lot of info around grave sites and relocations but not much from before that
