1940 Ship Wrecks at Dunkirk

    Wow thats a great photo - amazing to see what it looked then to now. I'll add that to the Crested Eagle thread at some point if you don't mind?

    2 others ship's wrecks also exists at east of Bray-dunes and closer to the border.

    I took photos in the past of the wrecks and I will post some at this thread.

    The wooden wreak between HMS Devonia and HMS Crested Eagle is the Vonette, a French ship beached on end of 1929.

    Visits are organised with comments, several times every summer by the town of Zuydcoote and wrecks can be seen at low tide...
