    1921 Nether Wallop, Hampshire - 19th February 2021 aged 99
    Cadet O.C.T.U. posted to 1st battalion The Rifle Brigade 12th Aprl 1941

    Awarded a Distinguished Service Order for actions near Pt.208 on 14th June 1942 in which he was severly wounded. Initially recommended for a Military Cross, upgraded to an immediate D.S.O. by General C. Auchinleck G.O.C.in Chief M.E.F.
