Whilst finding some information for TomTAS, I remembered seeing these images, previously:

Flying low Liberator crews spot wrecked C-47 and dinghy in a lake, 18 Sept 44, Holland.

Gliders And Parachutes Dor An Area In The Invasion Of Southern Holland, In One Of The Major Troop Carrier Missions, 18 September 1944

The top one looks like emergency landings, maybe there is something about the C.47 in Hans Brok book

    Hey Commando,

I have just had a quick look to see what some of the other images were, and thought if the interest was there I woould post the link to look at some of them. The images were found on Fold3.com at Browse Original Documents at Fold3.com, and can be searched for free, not sure if they can be downloaded or printed for free, however if they can't, I will download, and forward/post images wanted if members would like to PM me the links.

There are many more available under the heading WWII US Air Force Photo's which can be searched at: Search WWII US Air Force Photos at Fold3.

open one of the links and you can go forward and backward by using the arrow on the left and right side of each image

Does someone have a paid account for the photographs that not publicly can be viewed ?
