Wonder if anyone can help me work out where my grandfather Gnr E Templeton 812714 was injured and what he may have been doing.
I have his service record and found some amazing info from when he was in 64 air landing light during operation Dragoon.
But he was injured previous to that in October 1943 whilst serving in the 165th RA. Are there any war diaries from that period? Or any idea where he may have been in Italy.

He originated from the 1st Field Battery (The Blazers) E Subsection in 1935 after joining up at 16.
Photo attached which may be of interest to someone
