My father Frederick Edwards 5249950 was in the 151/156 Parachute Regiment volunteering for the 151 when he was based in Sialkot India in November 1941, he was previously in the Worcestershire Regiment 2nd Battalion from August 1933, he saw service in the Middle East and North Africa with A company as a Lance Corporal, does anyone know if there are any photos of A company which he might be on as i do not have any of him from his time in WW2, plus his war records show that he did first aid and St Johns ambulance training at the British Military Hospital, was this normal training for a soldier or could he have been a medic?

I have read the book from Delhi to Arnhem by John O'Reilly which is very good and it has my father's name in the back, any more information would be most appreciated .
