I have attached a photo of some the senior ncos and officers of taken at Emden in 1945.

Unfortunately I can not identify the officers.

    The ncos:

Back row left to right. Wilson, Whitby, Hetherington, Butler, Haystead, Hillis

front row left to right. Cork, unknown, unknown, unknown.

Has anyone any information on 149 (Sherwood Foresters) Light AA ? I have discovered the basics and will be ordering a copy of the WD when TNA opens up again.

Of the above, I believe we have:-

7014086 John Hillis who originally enlisted in the Royal Ulster Rifles on 7. 11. 1938. He then served with 40 S/L Regiment as was then transferred to 149 LAA Regt on 7.6.1943
1443679 Fred Whitby who enlisted in the R.A. on 9.2.1939. he also served with 40 S/L Regiment and was then posted to 149 LAA Regt on 7.6.1943. He went on to win a Military Medal ( L.G. 11 October 1945).
