Was it Andy's list or Lee's?

Drop Andy Drew5233 or Lee PsyWar.Org a personal message as they are the members who offer the NA look up and copy service.

Rob if you live in the Durham area / North East the War diaries are at the Durham County Record Office at County Hall and the DLI Research centre at Sevenhills , Spennymoor , i work there as a researcher and one of our projects at the moment is DLI casualties in Normandy .

You can book and appointment which is probably best , but you can just turn up Rob , the Sevenhills Centre is open Tuesday and Thursday 10am-3pm . I'm always in on Tuesday and sometimes Thursday .

DCRO it will be best to contact them and book a visit .

WO 171/1291 1944 Jan.- May, July- Dec ,the month of June unfortunately isnt amongst them. The diary for July doesnt mention casualties on the 19th-20th July nor does it go into the detail other months have.

    Evening Robin,

Make sure you have a look at their online catalogue before you go .

Their cat numbers are different to the NA. The diaries are on Micro Fiche so book a reader too :)

Many of the WD at DCRO are in booklets which are on the research shelves just to the right of the door when you enter , as far as i recall the one for 9 DLI is in this format , just ask the staff when you get there and they will show you where they are .
