Hi. Thanks for the link but can only see the diary entries for june july and august.. Nothing for september. 44
The obvious answer is to be patient and wait for The National Archives to restart their copying service if you can't get there yourself. An alternative would be to contact the Tank Museum to see if they hold a copy and, if so, be willing to copy it for you.
Thanks for that. As i'm not know for my patient nature, I will try the Tank museum route for my final war diary .
And finally, you could also engage somebody to copy the file for you privately. TNA has reopened its doors to researchers, but in a limited fashion. Drew5233 copies files on request at very reasonable rates. But l suspect he's not going there so often at the moment.

Hi David. With very many thanks for the PDF file. Excellent stuff. A few more parts of the puzzle filled in. Very kind of you to do that. Kind regards Steve.
Hi David, please pass on my thanks to the member, always a pleasure to read post VE Day War Diaries, as I have relied on the higher formation documentation that can be incomplete, best regards Steve. 21st Army Group later British Army of the Rhine (always under construction)
