    Have you scanned this Troarn 7F2 map?
    I have all the others around it as c. 5000 x 4000 30+ mb scans and would dearly love a copy of this one
    10 overlapping A4 scans of at 600 dpi would be enough to stitch back into the original size.

    There is a nice selection of Rex Whistler's sketches, letters and Wall Painting in the National Trust House Plas Newydd on Anglesey.

    He could have avoided WW2 as he was over the normal age after serving in WW1,
    But never the less volunteered his service once more.

    Sorry, I haven't. I can't see that it is online for free. www.battlefieldhistorian.com have it on their site for £12. I have never used them so I don't know what the quality is like.

    Hi Tom,
    You are so right with WW2, he was considered old!. But he wasn't in WW1 as at the start he would have only been 9 and 13 by the time it had finished.
