    Hello,

I am researching movements and battle locations of 123 LAA Regt RA, from landings on Sword or deployments onwards towards Harburg area of Hamburg. Map details and associated units would prove interesting, any assistance appreciated.

Dermot, the war diaries from the National Archives should be useful to you.

Here's the ones from 1944 onwards:

I have my Dad's personal diaries for parts of 1944 and 1945. He served in the 123 LAA Regt, and its predecessor, throughout the war. The diaries do not say much but do give information about where he was when.

He did not embark for France until July 14th, so obviously was not part of 405 or 409 Batteries. I have transcribed the diaries into a Word file, and could let you have this if you are interested. There are some personal details included, which I would not want to be publicly available.
