10th Battalion Nominal Roll November 1942- September 1944 https://friendsofthetenth.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Nominal-Roll.pdf The nominal roll below has been manually compiled from research of Battalion documents, war diaries, personal accounts and recollections of Veterans and other published materials. The list represents all men known to have served during the period 1942 to 1944 and is not confined to those who just fought at the battle of Arnhem. Many of these men, especially those joining in the early days of the formation of the Battalion during late 1942 and early 1943, moved into and out of the Battalion either to one of its 'sister' Battalions within the 4th Parachute Brigade-the 156th and the 11th Battalions, or were returned to their original parent units prior to their transfer to the 10th Battalion. There is no definitive or authorised list which exists in either Army or Battalion records of men who served with the Battalion other than Officers. The details of all the men mentioned within this nominal roll have been compiled from original work undertaken over many years. Inevitably and unavoidably, there will almost certainly be errors and omissions made in preparing and presenting such a list as this. Accordingly, we warmly welcome any corrective or additional information for further validation and potential inclusion in future revised publications.
