    Hello,

I'm looking for information about my Grandfather, his Unit and service history. Sadley he passed away in 1968 before I was born. His name was Staff Sgt JOHN WILLIAM WARWICK, 105830, RASC. I know that he was at Dunkirk but I don't know any more about his time there. I have his discharge certificate which states that at the time he was Warehouse Manager of the EFI at NORWOOD. But I don't know anything about what he did prior to this. If anybody has any information that could point me in the right direction then I would be very grateful.

    Hi Matthew,

I've just moved your query to its own thread - To take your research further you really need to identify his unit so you can see if there is a diary for the unit at the National Archives. A copy of his records from the MoD will cost £30.

    Cheers
    Andy

Good luck, it will take several months for records to arrive.
