Back to Normandy is 10 years on-line at April 16th. The first years with music and video's of commemorations (still there!). The last years "building the story of D-Day and beyond" with stories, locations and photos in a GPS-database. Like you, as a volunteer I do this work. For this special moment for me - 10 years Back to Normandy- I hope you want to give your testimonial, your advice for the next 10 years for Back to Normandy. Here is the link: Testimonials Fred Vogels, webmaster and composer of Back to Normandy
Fred, Unfortunately some of us can give no testimonial, good or bad, because we cannot access your site. Therefore, the single most important recommendation I would respectfully suggest would be to make it a straightforward website easily accessible by 'Google Search'. However interesting any testimonies, photographs and information may be it will have limited impact if online accessibility is difficult.
I don't understand your answer. Every day many many hits are registered on Back to Normandy. Many many visitors from the USA and UK are present. Please contact me on Skype with "fredvogels" as my skypename. We can talk about it. Looking forward to it. I'll be there within a hour Best regards, Fred

Is it a requirement to be have a Skype account to access articles posted on 'Back to Normandy'?
I have never used 'Skype' and have never had any plans to do so. So I am afraid this is impossible! Is it a requirement to be have a Skype account to access articles posted on 'Back to Normandy'? You don't need Skype for this. Skype is a very easy and free way to communicate. I use it especially with people who are living in other countries and you have to share a lot of information. My point was to find out why you cannot see Back to Normandy. I have never heard before that someone cannot see the website. It is an ordinary website.

What message are you getting on your screen when you try to view Fred's website ? Click this link to Fred's homepage & please report back. http://www.backtonormandy.org/ This is what it says when attempting to access that website: Oops! Google Chrome could not find www.backtonormandy.org Try reloading: www.Xbacktonormandy.Xorg Additional suggestions: Access a cached copy of www.backtonormandy.org Search on Google: As Normandy was originally my main area of WW2 research I thought this may be worth a look. I have tried a number of times with the same result. Is it Google that does not like the site for some reason and that is restricting access? In addition, I have previously sent Fred the above result as he seems to be the webmaster. Have any other WW2 Forum members looked at the site? If so, would they recommend it?
I can access your excellent website OK, Paul. I have kept trying to access 'Back to Normandy' but so far with no success.

Where do you live m8, might be the country or web browser you are using that is coursing you not to be able to go to the web page. Might be a flash player issue?? I don't no.
Have you tried another computer? Unfortunately, no. We only have the one computer! It only seems to be 'Back to Normandy' that gives this problem.
I just clicked the link and it went there straight away. Then I googled it, found the site and went there - no problem. It looks a very interesting site.
