1 Field Squadron Italy July 1944

Hello everybody,


In analysing the burials in Assisi War Cemetery I have found that two men from 1 Field Squadron RE were killed on 27 July.

They were:

Frank Coman THOMPSON and James Douglas GREIG.


To which division was 1 Squadron attached at that time and where was it in action?
