1/7th Royal Warwicks caen 1944

hi can anybody tell me anything about the 1/7th royal warwickshire reg my father served in caen and was wounded aug 15th 1944 i know this is a long shot but id be grateful for any info thank you little dave

You need to look in his units war diary held at the national archives. They'll state what the Battalion was doing on the day he was wounded and before that.

The 1/7 Royal Warwicks were in the same Brigade as my grandad's regiment (2/5 Lancashire Fusiliers). But most of the information i have is from the link that owen has put up.
