After my last marathon session of the Bailey Raft with Reo and D7, I thought something more diminuitive would be in order. I had just received a lovely little 180 Gal Bowser courtesy of master maker and friend Dave Rhodes and nicely cast by Ian Hanratty, Friendship Models and my thanks to both for their kindness. As most CMP's were used to tow these bowsers I decided a nice little 15cwt GS would be in order so scratch-built one using a resin cast version of the Oxford cab which IMHO is the closest replica of the CMP 13 Cab in 1/76. Thanks go also to Pete Marshall for the cab casting and the decals. The bowser was converted to the Canadian version with smaller 9.00-16 wheels, larger stabilizer legs and a tilt frame. Hoses were added using .015" and .025" solder wire. The figures is my fav Milicast Squaddie which features in a number of my models. I have included a couple of photo of the combination pre paint.
