Just finished this up this morning so here are a few photos of the Cromwell CMP LAAT mastered by Dave Rhodes (unfortunately no longer available) and the Zvezda Bofors which with a few saw cuts, electric motors from the Airfix kit, Dan Taylor Barrel and PE gun-sights and a later tow arm, it is turned into a MkIIC carriage. The model represents a manned AA under tow of the 7th LAA Regt attached to the 1st Canadian Army in the UK in 1942 and is based upon a photo in Steve Guthrie's book on Canadian Military Vehicles. The photo depicts the crew on a wet winter day in greatcoats but I exercised artistic license and had them out on a dry warmer day. The bike and MP are from the Dan Taylor Dispatch Riders set, decals from from Pete Marshall at Aleran and my thanks to Dave Rhodes who provided the leadership in converting the gun from deployed to towed, etc. He did his version of the same combination on the wet day with the crew in capes some time ago. Cheers, Neil
Thank you both Tom and Clive for your generous comments and to all of you that hit the "Like" button for my effort. It is much appreciated. Cheers, Neil
