I have a Geo.VI Territorial Efficiency medal to a man who appears to have a post-1920 7 digit
Seaforth service number, but the medal is awarded to him in the Royal Artillery.

In the same way that the 6th Argylls converted to the 93 (Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders) Anti-Tank Regiment RA (TA), was there any similar Seaforth transfer / creation ?

Seems an unusual transfer to me, joining as infantry then going to be a Gunner.

Currently, writing a book about the 73rd Anti-Tank regiment, and two of the men came from Seaforth highlanders.
One man, A.J Gibbons was wounded in France on 31st May 1940 so just got out in time. He was wounded again in 1944 whist serving for the 73rd in NW europe. I would love to know his full name and more about him. Service number 4343576
