    Welcome aboard. This can be a fascinating, helpful resource. It all depends on how much you want to know. Let us know and then the expertise here can help. Posting the documents you have would help. The OSS being an American covert agency likely means most research is conducted by Americans. After the war the OSS became the CIA.

    If you search with "OSS" + "burma" + "ww2talk.com" it identifies several options and threads here.

    I did quickly check: The Men of SOE Burma and the personnel list doe snot include 'Ballard'.

    Then I checked our American "cousin" website ww2f.com; nowt on 'Ballard' and OSS is too short to search with.
