Came across this just, "news" to me and not just the RAF were involved, the Ne Zealand Air Force and New Zealand SAS. It is a 2018 American article, which opens with: From: The British Royal Air Force: Operations over Laos against the Ho Chi Minh Trail, 1962 I have only quickly read the paper. Later as the war became much hotter there was a low profile British presence in South Vietnam, and a somewhat higher, public profile for an advisory team headed by Sir Robert Thompson, a counter-insurgency expert after Malaya.
