Hi all, I have seen a couple of different shapes of mounts for the aerials of wireless sets in vehicles. e.g. I think for the No 19 set, there is something which looks like an inverted funnel, and another which is narrower and straight, with a ring held by diagonal metal bars to keep things from hitting the aerial or the mount (I would guess). Were these both used for the same type of aerial? Or did the No 19 set require two? I'm a bit confused on this point. Also were these used for the aerials of other sets, or do these identify the use of a No 19 set?
First mount is for the A Set, second is for the B Set of the No.19 Wireless set. See: Help identifying mystery object on a Sherman V I don't know whether other Wireless Sets used the same mount(s) or not...
