British Army knife WW 2

    Chap in Marches flea market had 2 for sale i mentioned that it has a stamp if issued to Brit army but he said not all of them did which raised my sus

    It looks like post-war Belgian Army issue...No 'ABBL' stamped anywhere or manufacturer name ?

    Rich sorry its not the knife on the hoof just pinged first photo it looked like bloke was cagey when i asked re mark
    What should be stamped on Brit knife and where thank you

    They can vary a little. My earlier-war version has a broad arrow on the marlin spike, 'John Brookes, Sheffield' on the knife blade and the can opener and the Brookes name on the back of that too...They seem to be one of those items that is usually dated, but I'm not an expert. Is the lanyard ring brass or steel ?

    I thought all service issues had a mark

    This was my dads knife, obviously not WWII but this has the stamp on the blade. I am sure I have another somewhere
