    Margaret Rosina Baker . 2000254, died 15 December 1944.

Can't find her on the UK and Wales BMD lists or Scotland's People.

Any one cleverer than me know where she died please ?

    Hi Jon,

Encoutered a few problems with FreeBMD over the years and now the GRO Index Search is my go to.

Log in at GRO.Gov then use the Search the Online Index.

Deaths upto 2019 online rather than 1992 as per FreeBMD.

Afraid not and the citation for the death info is CWGC and Findagrave so its not even like that opens up any other avenues

Working on "Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. Arthur Conan Doyle"

Not registered in Isle of Man either so either incorrect index entry or not registered in UK.

I was curious about the location of Stranorlar as just over the border in County Donegal and the address of the publisher of the Communion card.

However there is a Mary Browne, aged 22 who died in Dublin 15th July 1943 (registered 16th July 1943) of cardiac failure at a Hospice.

Needs more work - but in the absence of evidence else where I wonder if she had left the WAAF due to illness, became locally employed as factory worker in Dublin, then entered the Hospice for pallative care.

She has definitely been medically discharged at the time of her death Ross

    Ok,

Looking at the entries on the pdf of the death register I attached cardiac failure is registered as cause of death in almost all of the hospice deaths so no real clue as to the longterm illness.

Worth a punt as a research strand.

    It's a heck of a coincidence. She's also down as dying of phithisis, which is often used to describe TB wasting. You've got The closest anyones got. She is literally untraceable anywhere else, in any combination of error I've checked . There are two more I've not yet looked at as a control measure ;;

Nancy Fahey 2081009 6th November 1945 buried Roscommon, Eire

Violet Florence Moore 2099386 19th February 1946 buried Drumholm, Eire

    Again both post discharge deaths

I'm not over familiar with Eire research I must admit

Bit more of a adventure than GRO.

    I use
    Irish Genealogy

Fill in first, surname, year and tick death box.

    Tick the capta box

Fill in detail again in the permission to access box.

Here it is a bit more intelligent - for Nancy Fahey it returns with three Ann Fahey - one of which is Roscommon.

Hit the view until you get the pdf.

She is the last entry - cause of death TB.

    Have a go with this.
